WHARTON RISK MANAGEMENT AND DECISION PROCESSES CENTER
The mission of the Center, located at the University of Pennsylvania, is to “carry out a program of basic and applied research to promote effective policies and programs for low-probability events with potentially catastrophic consequences. CENTER FOR BIOETHICS
According to its website, the Center for Bioethics is involved in bioethics research and its deployment in the ethical, efficient, and compassionate practice of the life sciences and medicine.
It receives funding support from AstraZeneca, Cephalon, Chiron Corporation, Du Pont, Fujisawa Healthcare, Genomics Collaborative, GlaxoSmithKline, Independence Blue Cross, Johnson & Johnson, Merck & Co., Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation, Schering-Plough Corporation.
