Long John Silver's Eliminates Trans Fat in Six Months

Long John Silver's successful transition from partially hydrogenated oils to trans-fat-free alternatives is great news for its customers. We were glad to work collaboratively with Long John Silver's leadership team and are pleased that the company achieved its ambitious goal in six months' time. That should give the Food and Drug Administration a good sense of how much time it should allow manufacturers and restaurateurs to eliminate artificial trans fat from the food supply.
