Bonnie Liebman (she/her) has been the key link in formulating CSPI's policies on diet and health. She provides the scientific input on many of the organization's administrative petitions and legislative proposals. Bonnie is the author of numerous articles on diet and cancer, heart disease, stroke, diabetes, memory loss, and other illnesses for Nutrition Action, which has roughly 400,000 readers nationwide. She served on the advisory committees that issued the American Cancer Society's 2001 and 1996 Guidelines on Nutrition and Physical Activity for Cancer Prevention.

Prior experience

Bonnie holds an M.S. in nutritional sciences from Cornell University.

What's the most inspiring part of your job?

"I enjoy talking to leading scientists about their research, crafting articles that interest, inform, and sometimes entertain thousands of people, and collaborating on efforts to counter pressure from the food industry to eat unhealthy food."
