Christina is a policy associate at CSPI. She contributes to CSPI’s healthy retail work and advocates for a food retail environment where nutrition is convenient and accessible to all. 

Prior experience

Prior to joining CSPI full-time, Christina was an intern and then a consultant on CSPI’s healthy retail team where she discovered that she loves working with the people at CSPI and diving into advocacy work. She has also contributed to research on Berkeley’s Healthy Checkout Ordinance and sugar-sweetened beverage warning labels in Dr. Falbe's lab at UC Davis and created a resource guide to promote funding accessibility for Tribally run organizations during her SNAP-Ed internship with the Washington Department of Social and Health Services. 

She holds a BS in Clinical Nutrition and BA in Design from UC Davis and completed an MPH in Nutrition with the Graduated Coordinated Program in Dietetics at the University of Washington. She received training to become a registered dietitian through supervised practice at various sites including Harborview Medical Center, WIC, and UW Medical Center.
