Lauren (she/her) is a dual degree DVM/MPH student at Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine and is interested in pursuing a career studying infectious disease upon graduation, combing her veterinary, public health, and research degrees. 

Prior experience

She spent the summer working as the Food Safety & Policy Intern at CSPI, looking into various topics ranging from Vibrio to Campylobacter and how policy could be better utilized to protect consumers. She has a passion for raising awareness of the unique role veterinarians can play outside of treating animals in a clinical setting that is often overlooked by people.
