Monica Wilson helps ensure all financial accounting functions are completed accurately, prepares interim financial reports, and manages compliance reporting. She is responsible for many aspects of general ledger accounting, including account reconciliations and budget preparation, and assuring compliance with GAAP.

Prior experience

Prior to joining CSPI, Monica worked as a senior accountant for the world’s largest public and private public relations firms, Ogilvy and DJE Holdings, with the specialty of making accounting departments more efficient. She earned her B.S. in Accounting from Delaware State College and a Master’s in Accounting Forensics from Roosevelt University in Chicago, IL.

What's the most inspiring part of your job?

"I am inspired by the great work being done at CSPI. CSPI does work for the greater good for healthy living, even for those that are unaware we exist. This work is important and meaningful, and while I am not on the front lines promoting change, I am glad to able to support those who do."
