William Corr is Senior Advisor at Waxman Strategies. He served for six years as Deputy Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services during President Obama’s administration. Previously he was Executive Director of the Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids, Chief Counsel to the Senate Minority Leader Tom Daschle and Chief of Staff of the Department of HHS during President Clinton’s administration. He has served as Chief Counsel to the Senate Subcommittee on Antitrust and Counsel to the House of Representatives Subcommittee on Health and the Environment. He began his career in the Appalachian region of Tennessee and Kentucky administering community owned primary health care centers.
