Whisking Greek yogurt even for a few seconds creates a gorgeous glossy texture, making sweet—or savory—dishes oh-so satisfying. No almond extract on hand? The same amount of vanilla extract is delicious, too.

Ingredients

  • 1½ cups plain low-fat or fat-free Greek yogurt
  • 1 Tbs. sugar
  • ½ tsp. almond extract 
  • ½ cup berries
  • 2 Tbs. toasted almond slivers (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the yogurt, sugar, and almond extract until the yogurt is glossy and all the sugar has dissolved. 
  2. Divide into 2 glasses or cups. Top each one with a mound of berries and, if you’d like, a sprinkle of almonds.
