Jane Welna (she/her/hers) manages major gifts, grants, donor advised funding, and fellowships for CSPI.

Prior experience

Jane served as Director of Development at Downtown Community Television Center in New York City and Executive Director at the documentary photography cooperative Impact Visuals. From 2015-2019, Jane volunteered as board chair for Healthy School Foods Maryland. Jane graduated from Carleton College with a degree in Art History.

Joined CSPI

Jane joined CSPI in October 2001.

What's the most inspiring part of your job?

"I enjoy discovering the match between funders and CSPI’s advocacy needs. It is especially rewarding to help new initiatives launch that succeed in making our food environment safer, more nutritious, and just."
