As a member of the Food Additives team in the Science Department, Jannah Tauheed (she/her/hers) investigates and evaluates the safety of food additives and other chemicals present in food.

Prior experience

Prior to joining CSPI, Jannah worked at the Kansas City, Missouri Health Department as a manager in the Communicable Disease Prevention Program. She earned a Sc.D. (Doctor of Science) in Environmental Health and an M.P.H. in Occupational and Environmental Health from the Harvard School of Public Health, an M.S. in Chemistry and Chemical Biology from the University of California, San Francisco, and a B.S. in Chemistry from Xavier University of Louisiana.
