This Retro Wedge Salad is great with small heads of romaine—often labeled “petite” or “artisan” romaine—if you can find them in your supermarket’s produce section.

Ingredients
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- ¼ cup plain yogurt
- 1 scallion, minced
- 2 Tbs. minced dill
- 1 tsp. vinegar
- ¼ tsp. kosher salt
- 3 heads romaine, quartered into 12 wedges
- 1 cup shredded carrot
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cup sliced cucumbers
Instructions
- Make the dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, yogurt, scallion, dill, vinegar, and salt.
- Arrange the wedges on 4 plates and top each with the carrots, tomatoes, and cucumbers. Drizzle on the dressing.
