Does being a "weekend warrior" come with risks?

In a recent study, scientists tracked 350,978 adults for 10 years. Among those who reported exercising for at least 2½ hours a week, those who exercised once or twice a week had no higher risk of dying of heart disease, cancer, or any cause than those who exercised at least three times a week.

What to do

This study didn’t look at injury risk for “weekend warriors.” Warm up and stretch before exercising, say experts.
